The Future Is Comin' On...

One of my absolute favorite bands has to be Gorillaz. Ever since I went to London in 8th grade and bought the first album there I've been hooked. Clint Eastwood (the song and the man) is the best shit ever. The band(?) is prepping a new record, and the creators Damon Albarn from Blur and the artist Jamie Hewlett have released a new documentary about everything Gorillaz. It's an hour and a half long, but it's amazing. Everything Gorillaz is about is pretty much summed up here, way more so then I could possible try and write here. So take my word for it. Make sure and watch it if your a fan.

New Kasabian

One of my favorite bands ever is Kasabian from the UK. Their first self titled album is perfect in my opinion, and the follow up Empire is amazing. They just released the new single for their third album, and it's called Vlad the Impaler. Of course, it's great Kasabain music. Check it out (and the video!)

RIP Shane McConkey

Pro skier Shane McConkey died during a ski base jumping accident today in Italy. You may have seen him in the Matchstick ski movies. He was a crazy skier and will definitely be missed.

Eastbound and Down

Sorry for the lack of posts recently, the website has taken a couple down because they violate some law or something. But people are still clicking here regularly so I'll try and keep it going as long as people are looking.

There's a show on HBO that just finished that maybe some of you have heard of. It's called Eastbound and Down and was created by the Foot Fist Way movie people. The show's amazing, especially this scene from the second episode. The song when they enter is Trentemøller - Vamp by the way.

Ill finally post some music for those lucky few who read this. These are all bands and songs that are really going to blow up in 2009. So I'm gonna call it here, on this website, that you heard it here first (and possibly other websites). So lets enjoy these songs before they become Paper Planes and lets discover these bands before they become the next MGMT.

First off is Little boots, which song stuck on repeat is literally stuck on repeat (on my ipod). It's amazing...
